Mogelijk als herenhuis gebouwd, momenteel als kantoor in gebruik zijnd pand; in 1891 in rijke eclectische stijl opgetrokken als stedebouwkundig dominerende beëindiging van de Stationsstraat welke zich ontwikkelde, geheel gericht op en na aanleg van de spoorlijn en het kanaal in 1872.

Möglicherweise als Herrenhaus erbaut, wird das Gebäude derzeit als Büro genutzt; errichtet im Jahr 1891 in einem reichhaltigen eklektischen Stil als städtebaulich dominierender Abschluss der Stationsstraat, die sich vollständig in Richtung des Baus der Eisenbahnlinie und des Kanals im Jahr 1872 entwickelte.

Possibly built as a mansion, a building currently in use as an office; erected in 1891 in a rich eclectic style as the urbanistically dominant termination of Stationsstraat, which developed entirely oriented towards and following the construction of the railway line and the canal in 1872.
